Printmaking

Have you wanted to try printmaking but were overwhelmed by the many types and all the supplies needed to test the waters? Discover the world of gel plate printing. In this introductory class, we’ll create a collection of notecards and unique art prints without using a printing press! It’s fast moving, intuitive and yes, a little messy. Teenagers and adults only please. All materials are included.

Talisman Brush-making

It’s called a “talisman” brush because, although its completely functional, it can also stand as an encouragement for your creativity. In this 90 min class, you’ll select your twig(s), add horse or goat hair bristles and secure them with a wrapped ferrule. Then, you’ll embellish it to your style with paint, thread, wire and beads. You can also add a hanger tie for display or mounting. Teenagers and adults only, as this requires nimble fingers and strong adhesives. All materials are included. Mask required.
